  8.         FeatherNet is Now 100% ZipLab compatible in PCBoard(R) mode.

  10. Configuring FeatherNet for ziplab is this simple:

  12. (1) Install the NEW 'fnchk.exe' included in this archive
  13.  
  14. (2) Install the NEW 'cname2a.exe' file included in this archive.
  15.     CHDIR to EACH node directory and run CNAME2A.EXE
  16.  
  17. (3) Remove any lines from your sr.bat or fnettest.bat files which say
  18.     "SET PCBDOOR=PRODOOR".  You may replace "PRODOOR" with  "XXXXXXXX" if
  19.     desired.  But DO REMOVE the word "PRODOOR" from the SET PCBDOOR= command.

  22.     That is all.  FNCHK will now create the PCBoard(R) "UPDESC.x" file
  23.     in the WORK directory (I finally found where it goes).  Whenever
  24.     ZIPLAB is done FNCHK reads the description and what is in "UPDESC.x"
  25.     is the NEW file description. (Note that the "x" on the end of the
  26.     "UPDESC.x" file name is the node number which is read from PCBOARD.DAT.

  28.     If you prefer another upload checker/verifier over ZipLab and it handles
  29.     the "UPDESC.x" file just answer "Y" in fnchk.cfg in the first line
  30.     as you would for ZipLab.
